Branch Leader, Broker-in-Charge

Hilary joined Allen Tate Realtors in 1995, generating more than $75 million in closed sales volume. Hilary's passion extended to regional training and coaching, which coupled with her extensive sales experience, prepared her perfectly for the role of branch leader and broker-in-charge.  In her fourth year of leadership, her role grew to include the branch leader of the new Statesville office. A year later, Hilary was tasked with overseeing the redevelopment and oversight of the professional development department for the company in addition to her branch leader duties in Mooresville and Statesville. In 2018 Hilary was asked to lead the flagship Charlotte-University City branch where she leads currently.

Hilary’s business and charitable successes led Business Today to name Hilary “Top Women in Business” in 2013. Hilary’s Leadership has been met with numerous company leadership awards: Community Involvement (2012, 2014), Rising Star (2013), Phoenix Award (2014), Most Valuable Player (2014), Special Recognition (2013, 2015), Partner of the Year (2015), Peer Leadership Award (2017).

In 2014, Hilary chaired the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. During her six years on the Executive Committee, she served in numerous roles including Vice President of Business Education and Advocacy (2010-2012), Vice President of Business Growth and Regional Advancement (2012-2013) and Director of Technology and Communication (2015).

Hilary served two years on the Lake Norman Economic Development Committee board, six years on the Regional Transportation Committee, and is serving her second three-year term on the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association's (CRRA) Professional Standards Committee. Hilary has also served CRRA on the Equal Opportunity in Housing Committee, Legislative and Community Affairs Group, Inspector/Realtor Task Force, and CMS/Realtor Task Force.

Giving back to her community is a part of life for Hilary. In addition to her Chamber and real estate industry activities, Hilary has served on numerous town committees and planning workshops. She has co-chaired American Cancer Society Galas, served as an event coordinator for the National Marrow Registry and has volunteered with Junior Achievement and local PTO events.

Hilary and her family are involved in their church, Mt. Zion United Methodist, where Hilary volunteers in several capacities. She is currently chair of the Staff-Parish Committee, is past vice-chair of the Administrative Board of Directors, has assisted with the children's choir, and sings with the chancel choir.
